A free FPL planner for the whole season
The planner above is a full Fantasy Premier League squad builder for the classic game, the standard 15-player, 100.0m format. Pick your 15 players inside the budget, arrange them into any legal formation, and see projected points, fixture difficulty, price, ownership and form for every pick without leaving the pitch. Nothing is locked behind a paywall and nothing is submitted to the official game until you decide to make the moves yourself. A “draft” here simply means one saved version of your squad, and you can keep as many as you like: Compare drafts compares them side by side once you have more than one.
Plan transfers gameweek by gameweek
Most FPL decisions are not about this week; they are about whether a move still makes sense in three weeks. Step forward through the gameweek tabs, apply transfers in the week you intend to make them and watch the budget, free transfers and any points hits update as you go, with the projected difference of each move shown as you make it. Changes cascade into later gameweeks automatically, so the plan stays consistent instead of becoming a set of disconnected snapshots. Test transfers scores alternatives from your shortlist.
Chips, fixtures and rotation
Assign Wildcard, Free Hit, Bench Boost and Triple Captain to specific gameweeks and the planner keeps them inside the correct chip windows. Fixture difficulty is shown on every player tile and ranked by club on the fixture difficulty page, while Rotation Planner finds pairs of players whose good runs alternate, so one bench slot can cover two clubs across a tough stretch.
Save, compare and share your squads
Save as many squad versions as you want, a template build, a differential build, a post-wildcard build, and switch between them instantly. Each tab shows its projected total for the selected gameweek, so the alternatives compare at a glance. Share any draft by link, export a PDF or image for your mini-league, or review the team you are considering: captain, lineup, bench order and the transfers worth a look, with the evidence behind each.
Research built into the same tool
Every pick links through to live data: per-player stats and underlying numbers, expected points projections, daily price changes, the transfer market, differentials, the template XI and what the elite managers are doing. All of it is refreshed from the official Fantasy Premier League API.
FPL planner FAQs
- Is the FPL team planner free?
- Yes. Building a squad, planning transfers and chips, saving multiple versions and exporting your team are all free, with no account required to get started.
- How do I import my FPL team?
- Choose Import my FPL team and enter your team ID, the number in the address of your FPL points page (/entry/<ID>/). Your current squad, bank and free transfers come in as a draft you can plan from, and the original is kept so you can reset to it.
- How do I plan transfers across several gameweeks?
- Build your 15 on the planner, then open GW Forecast to step through the coming gameweeks. Moves you make in one week carry forward automatically, so you can see the knock-on effect on your budget, free transfers and fixture run before committing anything in the real game.
- Can I plan my chips?
- Yes. Wildcard, Free Hit, Bench Boost and Triple Captain can each be assigned to a gameweek, and the planner respects the two chip windows (GW1-19 and GW20-38). A Free Hit week is treated as a one-off squad that resets the following gameweek.
- What are projected points?
- Every player carries the model's projected points (xP) for the selected gameweek: the average of thousands of simulated scores built from expected minutes, the fixture and the player's rates. Open a player to see expected minutes and the 10th to 90th percentile range. Projections are estimates, not predictions.
- What is FDR and how is it used here?
- FDR is the Fixture Difficulty Rating the Premier League assigns to each fixture, from 1 (easiest) to 5 (hardest). Every player tile shows a colour-coded strip for their next six fixtures, and the fixture difficulty page ranks whole clubs by their upcoming run.
- Does the planner enforce the FPL squad rules?
- It does. You get 15 players (2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, 3 forwards), a maximum of three players from any single club, a 100.0m budget, and only legal formations such as 3-4-3, 3-5-2, 4-4-2 and 5-3-2.
- Can I save more than one squad?
- Yes. Save as many versions as you like, switch between them in one click, clone one to test a variation, and compare them side by side.
